Kemenangan telak 4-1 atas Yaman di dalam laga ke dua Grup C Piala Asia U-17 2025 terhadap Senin, 7 April 2025, menjadi kunci keberhasilan Pasukan Garuda Muda menggapai tiket ke pentas dunia.

Timnas Indonesia U-17 membuktikan dominasi sejak babak pertama. Dua gol cepat dicetak oleh Zahaby Gholy (menit 15) dan Fadly Alberto (menit 25), berikan kelebihan 2-0 di paruh pertama. Meski Yaman sempat membalas lewat Al-Garash (menit 52), dua gol tambahan berasal dari Evandra Florasta di menit 87 dan 89 mengaminkan kemenangan spektakuler. Hasil ini mengantarkan Timnas Indonesia U-17 ke perempat final Piala Asia U-17 sekaligus mengamankan tiket ke Piala Dunia.































Prestasi Bersejarah: Pertama Kali Lolos Lewat Kualifikasi















Pencapaian ini istimewa dikarenakan menjadi kali pertama Timnas Indonesia U-17 lolos ke Piala Dunia U-17 melalui jalan kompetisi. Sebelumnya, terhadap edisi 2023, Indonesia hanya tampil sebagai tuan rumah. Pelatih Nova Arianto berhasil menyatakan kualitas timnya dengan menyatukan 6 poin prima dari dua pertandingan Grup C.































"Kami bangga bisa menciptakan histori untuk sepak bola Indonesia. Ini hasil kerja keras pemain, staf, dan pertolongan fans," ujar Nova Arianto dalam konferensi pers pasca-laga.































Garuda Muda Salip Tim Senior, Torehkan Rekor Asia















Timnas Indonesia U-17 kini tercatat sebagai negara keempat Asia yang lolos ke Piala Dunia U-17 2025, setelah Qatar (tuan rumah), Arab Saudi, dan Uzbekistan. Prestasi ini apalagi mengalahkan perjuangan tim senior yang masih bersaing di Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 Zona Asia. Di bawah asuhan Patrick Kluivert, Timnas Indonesia senior sementara ini berada di peringkat keempat Grup F dengan 9 poin, berpeluang lolos ke putaran keempat.
