Jennifer Lopez unleashed her inner animal as she flew into New York`s JFK airport on Tuesday.

The 45-year-old wore a cream, knee-length, Aran-knit cardigan with fur trim and a striking leopard-print lining.

And she matched the jacket with leopard spot high tops.

The singing superstar also donned a white vest and low-rise skinny jeans, ripped at the knee.

She pulled her long tresses up into a high bun and she covered her eyes with a pair of Aviator-style sunglasses.

J.Lo didn`t appear to be wearing any make-up, which was hardly surprising given the fact that she had just flown 18 hours from Singapore.

She put in a sizzling special performance to celebrate the F1 Grand Prix in Padang on Sunday, wearing a series of revealing outfits as she belted out her hits in a 90-minute show in front of 60,000 fans.

But the brunette beauty, who was probably missing her six-year-old twins Max and Emme, was intent on getting home.

As she sat in the back of a waiting limo that whisked her away from JFK, the Booty singer took to Instagram to share a selfie.

They maybe a bit big: But Emme looked so cute in her mother`s cardigan and sunglasses J.Lo couldn`t resist posting the image on Instagram with cautionary caption, `Ok this happened while I was sleeping`

And her little girl obviously loved the snap as she recreated it for her mother.

 It`s not the first time, the celebrity has chosen an animal print outfit. 

On September 17 she showed off her long legs in a blue, faux snakeskin mini-dress with matching purse and pumps as she kicked off the new season of American Idol in New York.
